He attended Nebraska Wesleyan University in Lincoln, NE from 2001-2005 where he graduated with high distinction and obtained his B.S. degree in Biochemistry / Molecular Biology.

He attended the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, NE from 2005-2009 where he received his degree in Doctor of Medicine.

He completed his Residency in Internal Medicine at University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics in Madison, WI from 2009-2012

Upon completing his Residency he completed a Fellowship at University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics in Madison, WI from 7/2012-6/2015 in Gastroenterology and Hepatology. Dr. Bowman is in the process of completing a second Fellowship at University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics in Madison, WI in Advanced Endoscopy from 7/2015-6/2016.

Dr. Bowman became Board Certified in Gastroenterology in 2015.
